The University of Chicago Library Goes Mobile

The University of Chicago Library now has an optimized web page for mobile technology featuring several key library services, including Hours Information, Lens Search and Ask a Librarian.  Try one of this sites with your cell phone or other device:

Lebron loves librarians, and so should you

A recent ESPN interview with Cleveland Cavaliers superstar Lebron James recounts that James still returns to his old high school to visit the librarian Barb Wood: "LeBron used to have long chats with her in the library when he was a student, and nowadays they text each other about three times a week. He makes sure to visit her at the school at least once a year."  We don't currently have any way for students to text us, but we are on IM!  And of course, alumni, whether they are superstars or not, are always welcome to visit the library!
