The Library recently acquired the 55th installment of Visionaire.
According to its website, "Visionaire is a multi-format album of fashion and art produced in exclusive numbered limited editions. Since its inception in the Spring of 1991, Visionaire has offered a forum for works by both famous and emerging artists from around the world as well as personalities, fashion designers, art directors, and image-makers."
The 55th album, entitled Surprise, presents a series of pop-up books designed by several contributors and executed by the paper engineer Bruce Foster.
The collection of books is here to be explored in the Special Collections Research Center.
