Chicago Humanities Festival Programs Feature U of C History of Medicine Collections

The theme of the 2010 Chicago Humanities Festival is The Body. On Sunday, October 24, is the Festival's Hyde Park Day.  Three speakers will discuss rare medical texts and their use of the University of Chicago Library's collections at a panel session entitled Studying the Body.  Participants in special viewing sessions will be able to view a selection of rare medical books in a small group setting.
